About Us
Nepal Biogas Promotion Association is the umbrella organisation of biogas construction companies and Bio-gas appliances manufacturing workshops in Nepal. With more than 114 member companies NBPA is one of the biggest private sector organisations in the field of biogas in Nepal. NBPA offer expertise about biogas, bio-slurry, and new biogas technologies. With our team we are steadily working on the improvement of technologies and on the development of the sector. NBPA provides wide range of services, such as technical training, technical support or mediation in conflict situations for member biogas construction companies. We want to stay in close contact with our member companies and another stakeholder to provide support regarding disseminating biogas technology and its benefits. For that reason, NBPA has its central office in Kathmandu and seven regional offices throughout the country. We keep our members, stakeholders and other interested people up to date about news in the biogas sector.

Objectives
- Development and Promotion of biogas technology by adopting appropriate principles and policies.
- Co-ordinate with Nepal Government, and national and international organisations and work on programs promoting and developing biogas technology.
- Modernisation of the biogas technology as an effective and efficient technology through research and development.
- Rigorous promotion and sales of biogas technology by offering a wide range of appropriate quality products, and quality biogas plants and providing adequate after-sales and training service.
- Monitor and ensure the proper use of biogas technology and bio-slurry by the users to generate additional economic benefits.
- Work for strengthening the business of member companies by meeting the gaps prevalent among companies & the sector.
- Harness the competencies of member companies to meet the present demand of the sector and for providing quality service to the customers.
